The Fort Smith Boys & Girls Clubs has a mission to help youth of all backgrounds develop qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. Through our association with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we seek to enhance the quality of life for the youth of our community.

1928 - Club originates in Judge Parker's Courthouse and Bob Kuykendall is named Executive Director

1930 Incorporated as Fort Smith Boys Club

1941 Wheeler Club dedicated

1945 Clarence Higgins named Executive Director

1947 Hunt's Park dedicated

1957 Jeffrey Boys Club dedicated at 50th & Kinkead

1966 Original Evans Boys Club dedicated

1978 Jeffrey Boys Club relocated to 50th & 'O' Street

1980 Wheeler Club closed

1981 Stephens Club dedicated

1985 College Scholarship program established

1991 Alumni & Friends Association established

1992 Hall of Fame established

1993 Goldtrap-Gardner Club dedicated

1996 Stephens Club destroyed by tornado

1997 Stephens Club rededicated

1999 Name changed to 'Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club'
